Nargis looked Amazing in a beautiful white coloured Anarkali with heavy embellishment at top and delicate Mirror-work with Antique Gold and bronze border at the bottom. The self embroidered sleeves of the Anarkali looked subtle and elegant. The all white Anarkali was paired with a soft duppata with croquet border. All in all, Nargis was an Image to behold.Completing her look with a Maang Tikka and Kundan Neckpiece of White and Maroon kundan-work, Nargis exuded a lady-like Charm.








The Ace Designer Ritu Kumar who is well-known for her detailed research and study of various Indian Crafts and Textiles presented her stupendous collection named “The Thunder Mountain and the Curling Vine” which was a mixture of Contemporary and Traditional Outfits, Inspired from the Himalayan terrains.It was a Collection inspired from Butan’s traditional attire with riot of colours and iconography from Buddhist prayer flag. Print seemed to be high at this season of Lakme Fashion Week with designer’s going a Notch higher to resurrect Indian tradition with vibrant prints. 










The designer used a lot of Traditional Hand-woven and Hand-spun fabrics that ranged from Bhutanese Thangka, Kanni Weaves, Khadi to hand-woven Silk and fused them with Contemporary Lycra, Jersey and Leather to give out a mixture of Traditional meets Contemporary Indian Collection.
